Maths Programme

About the Programme

The Driven Mission X Love21 Maths programme is to help special needs children with their abilities in Maths and through this, hope to grow their passion in this subject.

Our partner, Love21 is a charity empowering the Down syndrome and autistic community in Hong Kong through sport, nutrition, and holistic support programmes.

We hope to make this program as interactive as possible, yet each kid will get individual guidance to help them with their needs.

We hope to make reading fun and educational, and our main goal is that by the end of the session these kids will have the ability to read on their own!

Heads of Math:

Herman Pang

My name is Herman Pang, and I’m 16 years old this year, attending Year 11 at Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games (League of Legends) and reading novels and manga.

Through my work through this collaborative project between the Driven Mission and Love 21 , I aim to help my students catch up with the current education at their schools, and to get grades that they can be satisfied with. Ideally, I want to deliver my lessons in a way that invigorates and excites the students. In the future, I have aspirations of being a teacher, so these classes act as a means of practice for me - to learn to adapt to more circumstances, in order to keep the children invested.
